MCG Wedding | Noble Photography

St Ignatius Wedding Ceremony & The Long Room Reception It was great to be back photographing a wedding at the MCG again.  It’s a nice change from the popular wedding venues and allows me to be a little more creative and think outside the box a bit more. The Long Room is certainly a wonderful venue with a difference! The ground and the grandstand makes for an amazing  backdrop. There was limited time for photographs, made even more challenging because it was dark and raining! But I offered up the suggestion to get them out for a quick photograph in the rain. After setting up the … [Read more...]

Ripponlea Wedding Photography Preview

Sneak Preview of Wedding Photography that I just couldn't wait to share.  There are so many wonderful images that I'm so happy with.  More images of this beautiful wedding to follow.  Justiene and Peter's day started at the Windsor Hotel, spring Street Melbourne. (http://www.thehotelwindsor.com.au/) It was a hot day so we were very lucky we were able to escape the heat in such beautiful venues like The Windsor and of course the beautiful Ripponlea. Ripponlea Estate (www.ripponleaestate.com.au) is one of my favourite venues, and it was fantastic that I actually had the time to shoot there … [Read more...]

Asian Wedding Photography with Eka and Thomas at the Willows Melbourne

Asian Wedding Photography with Eka and Thomas at the Willows Melbourne We had an early start of 7am for the Asian Wedding Photography of Eka and Thomas.  I cant possibly imagine what time the girls got started on getting ready to look amazing like they did by 7am. I knew it was going to be a fun day when i arrived to where the boys were getting ready to find a really great group of guys including past wedding clients. We did some preparation, while working with the team at Eye Heart Media, Wedding Cinematographers and then went downstairs to capture the girls getting ready.  There … [Read more...]

Grand Final Wedding Photography at Red Hill

Grand Final Day Wedding Photography at Red Hill Was very happy to be away from the city footy crowds this past Grand Final day and heading down to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula for Wedding Photography at Red Hill. As many of you may remember it was a stormy, cold Grand final day where the Sydney Swans won the Flag and the special day of Jenny and Sam. I had never met this couple before as all of our correspondence was done over the phone prior to the wedding. I had a really good vibe about her over the phone, so it was nice to meet Jenny for the first time in person. We walked in to … [Read more...]

Quat Quatta Wedding Photography with Polish Traditions

Quat Quatta Wedding Photography with Polish Traditions Quat Quatta Wedding Photography with another wonderful couple.  Having already photographed Arletta and Adam for their Engagement photo session, I was really looking forward to photographing their Wedding. As far as Wedding Photography goes, I have to say that this was an extremely easy couple to photograph, the camera loves Arletta and I have to agree with her bridesmaids, that she looked like she walked straight off the cover shoot of a magazine! I enjoyed meeting Arlettas family, it's weddings like this that make me think … [Read more...]

Daylesford Wedding Photography

What an amazing time of the year this is, as the weather warms up, all the plants start to blossom and how fortunate am I to be in Daylesford of all places to be shooting a wedding. We’d already done an engagement session earlier this year, so being relaxed and having fun in front of the camera was second nature to this couple. The ceremony was at the Lake House in Daylesford.       It was a cosy, intimate wedding, with only the most important select few people there, not to mention their gorgeous niece and her little rabbit doll  named … [Read more...]

Stones of the Yarra Valley Wedding

My lovely Swiss couple were married in the Yarra Valley at Stones of the Yarra Valley.  It was great to finally meet Remo at the church as I had only corresponded with him over email prior to the wedding.  Remo has his own Mamiyas in Basel Switzerland and I feel honored to have been chosen and trusted to be part of the film enthusiasts day! Throughout the day I had a bit of a chuckle to myself, here I was shooting a wedding 100% on film, I'd accidentally left my mobile at home and I didn't have my Gps to rely on as it wasn't picking up a signal.  Felt like I'd stepped out of the good … [Read more...]

ABIA Awards Night

ABIA Awards Night A big thanks to all my past brides for nominating me for the ABIA awards and for introducing me to the awards this year.  I hadn't heard of the awards prior to being nominated and really enjoyed the evening meeting new people in the industry. It was a great evening at Leonda by the yarra, and it was fantastic see so many familiar faces. I got a score of 99.31% which is apparently really great! But not quite enough to be the overall winner, oh well, something to strive for again next year. … [Read more...]

Film Wedding Photography

More film wedding photography! It’s so exciting to be shooting a whole wedding on FILM this weekend in the Yarra Valley at the beautiful Stones of the Yarra Valley. I met the lovely couple for the first time on Wednesday as they are international clients whom have flown in from Switzerland.  Like myself they have a great interest and passion for film and Polaroid.  I  just love the look of film images, along with the process of shooting film. I've been trained and grew up shooting film.   Technically it's a harder process but I love drawing on my knowledge to make the shot ' … [Read more...]

Celebration Extravaganza! I'm happy to have made this last minute booking on a Tuesday night for the Friday morning as it was like nothing I've ever seen. Jackie and Chao met when they were 8 years old back in China, and it wasn’t until 20 years later that they reunited by chance meeting led to Chao instigating a visit on pretence of purchasing from the store that Jacki worked. The 18 hour celebration started at 6am at docklands.  The sun was still sleeping and the lights of the city buzzing made for an exciting start to the day!  We then traveled across the city to the brides … [Read more...]

Wet Yet Worthwhile... Another fantastic couple Jarrod and Paula braving the elements this Autumn for fantastic images! I myself also got quite wet, lying in the wet sand and jumping through the bushes... Anything to get the shot! Jarrod and Paula got married at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Lorne.  This unique church built in 1956 was a photographers dream boasting amazing walls that lifted up from the side,  creating perfect light, a breathtaking view of Lorne and the beach from the balcony and the smell of the coastal air! I’m quite familiar with The Great Ocean Road to … [Read more...]
