Quat Quatta Wedding Photos – Amy and Marcus

Quat Quatta Wedding Photos Photography by Andrew Noble I met Amy years ago when she worked in the Jewellery Industry at Hamiltons Jewelers, where I purchased Hayley's engagement ring.  Amy and the Bridesmaids got ready at Crown Metropol and then traveled to meet Marcus and the Wedding Party for the ceremony at St Lukes in South Melbourne.  I photographed the rings whilst Amy was getting ready and was responsible for getting the rings safely to Marcus for the ceremony! It was a beautiful ceremony which was supposed to follow with family photographs afterwards, however unfortunately we … [Read more...]

Geelong Wedding Photographer – Astrid & Will

I remember the first time I spoke with Astrid on the phone, and without sounding too confident I almost already knew that I would be her wedding photographer. Its great when you have an immediate connection with someone over the phone! She was refereed to me by one of the band members from a great wedding band Trojan Band.  Who I was the photographer at a wedding of Jade & Stewart years ago, it was actually the free style photo booth which I’d done at Jade and Stewarts wedding that they loved the idea of so much. The preparation happened at The Four Points Sheration on the … [Read more...]

Daylesford Wedding Photography

What an amazing time of the year this is, as the weather warms up, all the plants start to blossom and how fortunate am I to be in Daylesford of all places to be shooting a wedding. We’d already done an engagement session earlier this year, so being relaxed and having fun in front of the camera was second nature to this couple. The ceremony was at the Lake House in Daylesford.       It was a cosy, intimate wedding, with only the most important select few people there, not to mention their gorgeous niece and her little rabbit doll  named … [Read more...]

Grand Ballroom - The Windsor Hotel Wedding Reception

The Dome on Collins St & Windsor Hotel Wedding

I was introduced to an amazing venue, which has quickly become one of my favourite locations.  Sami and Elie were married at The Dome @ 333 Collins Street Melbourne. The building was the banking chamber of the CBA. I loved discovering and exploring  the different parts of the venue and we got some amazing shots along the way! Hence the name the venue showcased the most amazing roof top, full of detailed arches and the most ornate ceiling.  Its hard to believe that the highly glossed, reflective marble floor is full off  business people throughout the week and today … [Read more...]

Quat Quatta Wedding

I started James and Stephanie's day in Northcote and then continued on to St Johns Church for a few informal portraits before they were married! It was here at the church where I captured my newest favourite shot! Stephanie and James had permission to use bubbles in the church, we captured beautiful images of the newly weds leaving the church with the bubbles spilling out.  With additional lighting which I have to credit my new and wonderful second shooter/assistant and good friend Rhiannon, the bubbles are highlighted beautifully just as James, Stephanie and I … [Read more...]

Stones of the Yarra Valley Wedding

My lovely Swiss couple were married in the Yarra Valley at Stones of the Yarra Valley.  It was great to finally meet Remo at the church as I had only corresponded with him over email prior to the wedding.  Remo has his own Mamiyas in Basel Switzerland and I feel honored to have been chosen and trusted to be part of the film enthusiasts day! Throughout the day I had a bit of a chuckle to myself, here I was shooting a wedding 100% on film, I'd accidentally left my mobile at home and I didn't have my Gps to rely on as it wasn't picking up a signal.  Felt like I'd stepped out of the good … [Read more...]

Leonda By The Yarra

ABIA Awards Night

ABIA Awards Night A big thanks to all my past brides for nominating me for the ABIA awards and for introducing me to the awards this year.  I hadn't heard of the awards prior to being nominated and really enjoyed the evening meeting new people in the industry. It was a great evening at Leonda by the yarra, and it was fantastic see so many familiar faces. I got a score of 99.31% which is apparently really great! But not quite enough to be the overall winner, oh well, something to strive for again next year. … [Read more...]

Film Wedding Photography

More film wedding photography! It’s so exciting to be shooting a whole wedding on FILM this weekend in the Yarra Valley at the beautiful Stones of the Yarra Valley. I met the lovely couple for the first time on Wednesday as they are international clients whom have flown in from Switzerland.  Like myself they have a great interest and passion for film and Polaroid.  I  just love the look of film images, along with the process of shooting film. I've been trained and grew up shooting film.   Technically it's a harder process but I love drawing on my knowledge to make the shot ' … [Read more...]

Lindenderry Wedding Photography

I had the pleasure of being the photographer at Olivier and Giselle’s wedding, a really cute couple, who got married at the most fantastic location. Lindenderry is a beautiful winery in Red Hill towards the Mornington Peninsular near Rosebud, it consists of beautiful vineyards, gardens and interiors, along with a fantastic reception room with beautiful vista of the surrounding bushlands. Their wedding was a garden ceremony out amongst the vineyard with amazing scenery, which was to make spectacular wedding photography. The couple personalised an amazing display of wedding photos … [Read more...]

Unique, Fun and Young Wedding, making the most of the bad weather. I can’t believe that 16 months have passed since I met Beth and Luke in our first wedding interview.  I remember meeting them clearly as at that time I welcomed my first baby boy Ashton into this world, and funnily enough as I write this I now, I also have a beautiful newborn baby girl Gracie.  Wow! It’s amazing how fast time goes by! They picked a beautiful garden wedding location at Tatra Mount Dandenong , with the intention of creating a great fun atmosphere for their guests with giant chess pieces, crocket, giant … [Read more...]
