Fitzroy Gardens Wedding & MCG Long Room Reception with The Sensational Smyths…

I am lucky enough to know this fabulous couple personally and was really touched throughout their day! They are a fun and relaxed couple and their wedding day certainly reflected this.

The speeches and the ceremony were fabulous, probably the funniest I’ve heard at a wedding, in fact when going through the photos I don’t think I’ve ever seen a couple laugh and smile so much throughout the entire day! Jess our beautiful Bride walked down the isle to meet her ‘Pie’ (Her Nickname for David) in an intimate garden ceremony that took place at the Fitzroy Gardens.

The guests and wedding party then walked to the MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) for the Coctail Reception in the Long Room. With Davids love of sport and being a Life MCC Member the MCG is a very special place for the couple and hence the perfect venue for their wedding day! We were lucky enough to step out onto the field for some photos which I’m sure was one of the highlights to the Groom and Groomsmen.

I can’t imagine how amazing it would feel, to look up from the centre square and see all 95000 seats full… (Well actually I can! But that’s another story! hehe- Anzac Day 2011.) Thanks for a wonderful day and evening Jess and David, thank-you for letting me part of your special day! I know it killed Hayley that I got to see Jess all dressed up in her wedding gown before she did… She looked gorgeous! Andrew
