Anna & Justin had their wedding ceremony at The Kamesburgh Gardens and Reception at The Baths Middle Brighton

Here is a comment from our Wonderful couple Anna and Justin, whom received their photos via Facebook while on honeymoon!

Hi Andrew and Rhi!

I wanted to write to you both to say a huge thank you for all of your hard work on our wedding day on the 5th. We love the photos we have already seen but more importantly we loved having you as part of our day and had a lot of fun with you on our ‘photoshoot’. The response to these first photos has been overwhelming and I think you could have a couple of our friends coming to speak to you about their weddings next year. Thanks again!

Congratulations to Katie and James who were married in a late ceremony at St Johns Church followed by a reception at one of my favourite Melbourne wedding venues Quat Quatta.

We’d always known that it was going to be a push for time and light with a late ceremony and reception shortly after wards, so I’m thankful Quat Quatta was the reception venue as it is full of gorgeous spots for beautiful wedding photography.

The day started at Jame’s parents house! I love that Bow ties are back in vogue! James and his groomsmen looked amazing.

Unlike previous weddings I’ve been at before, where the groomsmen have had to refer to YouTube to save the day with the tying of their bow ties, James father and mother helped the boys tie them with ease!  It was a nice touch with James sporting his Dads great grandfathers cuff links, Wow what an amazing and special thing to have on your wedding day!

From the boys house we traveled to South Yarra where the girls were getting ready, at the magnificent Olsen hotel, which was a fantastic location for bridal preparation shots not to mention only being just down the road from the church.

The funny thing was that as I arrived at the hotel I saw another photographer leaving the room next door. With a small amount of chatting I discovered that his couple were also getting married at St John’s in Toorak, I did keep this to myself as I did not want to fluster the girls getting ready.  The girls were super relaxed and enjoying the afternoon when we arrived.   Katie even said how relaxed she felt. She looked amazing!  Im still priding myself on getting the twins names right most of the time…

James and Katie were naturals! We had already had an engagement shoot previously which I think helped them to be more relaxed on the day! We got lots of amazing shots even with little time and light.  It was very low light so we added additional lighting to some of my favourite spots in and around Quat Quatta including using additional lighting to capture the request of a group shot!

Well done and congratulations guys.  We hope you’re having a great honeymoon in Thailand, from Andrew and all of us at Noble Photography.

Shot on my new amazing Canon lens.

The day started quite relaxed as the bride and groom got ready in the Bridal Suite at Butleigh Wootton.  I enjoyed using my new Canon lens ……… it creates the most beautiful, crystal clear and sharp focal points, whilst dropping out the background beautifully.  The images straight from the camera look as though they have been worked on already in Photoshop.  I love it… I did get a little bit of a laugh when I first got the new lens out of my bag with Sini asking why I had a Megaphone… Haha.

It was a lunch time ceremony in the beautiful European terrace Garden at Butleigh Wootton .  The ceremony was a very relaxed and personal ceremony mixed with a few traditions from each of their backgrounds including a beautiful wind instrument played by Sinis Brother in law, a Rose Ceremony symbolising the words  “I love you” and the first gift given to them as husband and wife and a Blessing of the Rings Ceremony where the rings were passed around. Each guest placed the hands on the rings and shared love, support, wisdom, and a prayer for the couple through a quiet blessing before the rings were exchanged.

With little time between the ceremony and reception we used the gardens for the group photographs and family photos.  Whilst the guests sipped pre lunch drinks and gathered for the reception we photographed the newly weds in both the gardens and within the beautiful interior of Butleigh Wootton consisting of the stunning staircase and balcony.

Daria and Sini had a moment to relax in the Bridal Suite where Daria came out in her second gown for the day.  It was the beginning of the very moving reception, consisting of touching speeches, Dancing and Sini serenading his beautiful bride with a song he wrote for her whilst playing his guitar.  I don’t think I’ve ever met such a more suited couple.  It was hard to not get caught up in all the emotion of the day with such a sweet and caring couple.

Congratulations Daria and Sini! Its been great getting to know you. Thanks for having me not only as your photographer but for also having Hayley and I as a guest at your wedding.  Keep in touch! Andrew

The ceremony was in the Upper gallery, followed by group photos, family photos and Newly wed photos around the venue.  Being a local to Eltham I then led Katie and Aaron to a fabulous overgrown path just near Montsalvat.  It was a great backdrop for the beautiful photos we captured.

We then all met back at the Wattle Park Chalet, which use to be Arlington, apparently Aaron use to work there once upon a time!  The new team there we fantastic to deal with, really easy going, and hospitable and the food was fantastic!

Having been there a few years ago, I knew of a few great spots in and around Wattle Park, but unfortunately we did run out of time for those last few shots, but still got some great photos around the Wattle Park Chalet.

The newly weds Lindi and Andrew  were married at All Smiles, Sorrento Back Beach on Saturday and I had the pleasure of photographing this fabulous couple on their special day.

I met Lindi watching her on the catwalk for the Australian Bridal Service, where she modelled along side my partner Hayley several times a year.  I watched her, as they would say ‘Be a Pretend bride’ many, many times over the years but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her so happy as she was on her real Wedding Day in her specially designed for Lindi, Bernadette Pimenta Gown.

Guests braved the wind to witness their marriage on the grassed cliffs beside All Smiles Cafe, which boasts the most spectacular backdrop for a romantic and intimate celebration.  Guests then followed the happy couple inside for a cocktail reception inside the beautiful All smiles Cafe.  With little time allowed we still managed to duck down to the beach and capture some beautiful shots on the rocks and sand. Thanks to the wonderful Bridal party, you were a fun group. Congratulations Lindi and Andrew, I look forward to catching up with you when you return from your honeymoon.

Vincent and Veronica – Some sneak preview images from Vincent and Veronica Wedding.

I really had a lot of fun with you guys!!  More to come soon!  See you both when you get back from your honeymoon for your album design session.

I had never been there before but instantly saw so many great photo opportunities. We were fortunate enough to have nice dramatic stormy skies and just a touch of rain as we were returning to the reception.  For all of you worrying about it raining on your wedding day, look at the positives… It makes for dramatic photography and amazing images. To be honest, not that I wish for it to rain on your day but ‘I love it when it rains!’

Thanks again for being such a great couple guys, and thanks to our second photographer Rhiannon whom also was willing to get wet in the quest of taking these great shots.
